Ugh, change

Flickr's gone and made itself all ugly and difficult to navigate. x.x I cancelled my pro subscription and downgraded to 'free' with pro-rated refund pending. Photobucket's irritating on an entirely different level, though, so I'm somewhat at a loss for where I'm going to keep my pictures. I really liked the original Flickr. :( If they add a 'use old style' button I'll stick with it but if not, I guess I'll be on the market for a new place to store and share my photos!

I hate when sites DO THAT!

How about imageshack?

The new Flickr is TERRIBLE. The old Flickr was easy to navigate and looked rather clean. The only good thing about that update is the storage increase. I don't blame you for a second for wanting to downgrade your account.

It's because Yahoo bought it and took it over. They did the same with Delicious and Geocities. It's why everyone's freaking out about Tumblr (can't say I blame them). If I hear of a good photo sharing site, I'll let you know.

LMAO oh God, part of me feels bad for Tumblr users and part of me hopes everyone will come over to DW. I've been thinking of getting a Tumblr to promote my fics because so much of fandom is over there, but if Yahoo is taking over, then I'll wait to see how badly they mess up before making a decision.

It should matter but so many sites would rather lose customers than admit they're wrong. Just look at lj. It's a shame because so many people really loved Flickr.
